Stratton Faxon Fairfield Half Marathon Final Runner Instructions

Welcome to the 33rd Annual Stratton Faxon Fairfield Road Races!

The Half Marathon has SOLD OUT!

We have reached our field limit of 5,000 participants.

No race day entries will be accepted for the Half Marathon. You cannot run the 5K with your half marathon bib number. Deferments are no longer accepted for this year's race. Check www.fairfieldhalf.org for your bib number and to make sure we have your correct race, age, sex and town. We will be using the disposable B-tag systems for fast and accurate results. The timing tag is attached to your race bib so please do not remove it. To insure that you get timed, please make sure your race bib is worn on your front side and that it is attached to the outermost clothing layer.

New Security and Baggage Policies

All items brought to the race must be carried in clear plastic bags or containers all of which will be subject to random security checks by the Fairfield Police Department. All registered runners will be allowed to check one zip-lock bag that will be provided at the two Fairfield Train Station (Fairfield and Metro Center) and at the Baggage Check tent on the beach. Each runner must write their bib number on the bag (marking pens will be available at the baggage check tent). Note: The bag will be large enough to accommodate a towel, a shirt and light pullover, sandals, and a few small personal items.  ComplimentaryShuttle buses will provide transportation to/from the Metro North lots until 12:30 pm.   Avoid long lines by picking up your clear bag well before the last bus leaves at 12:30 pm. Additional Security information can be found at http://www.fairfieldhalf.org/chronotrack-timing.htm.

No bags or backpacks will be permitted.
