It’s the first Hudson Valley Runs race ever, brought to you by the same folks who bring you dozens of NYCRUNS events each year! Course: The course boasts stunning views of the Hudson River and the famous architecture of Newburgh’s historic district. Starting and finishing in historic downtown Newburgh, the half marathon will take you on a great tour of this Hudson Valley city and town. A map will be provided as soon as the course is finalized. Time Limit: The official time limit is 3 hours but as a rule of thumb the last thing we unplug is the finish line mat – take your chances over 3:00. Awards: Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female runners overall and the top 3 in each ten year age group. Packet Pickup: TBD. There will be pre-race pickup and race day pickup available. Amenities: A great short sleeve technical race shirt and an amazing finisher medal will be included. Bag check and toilets will be provided. Bagels, spreads, and fresh fruit will make up a great post race spread. Directions: Please use Google Maps for driving directions.
